Discover the wildlife, scenic landscapes, and vibrant culture of Northeast India on this memorable journey through Kaziranga National Park, Shillong, Cherrapunji, and Guwahati. The tour begins with your arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, followed by a scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its population of the rare one-horned rhinoceros.
At Kaziranga, enjoy thrilling wildlife experiences including an early morning elephant safari (subject to availability) and an exciting jeep safari through the park’s central range. These safaris offer opportunities to spot rhinos, wild elephants, swamp deer, wild buffaloes, and numerous bird species in their natural habitat.
The journey continues to the beautiful hill station of Shillong, often called the “Scotland of the East.” En route, stop at the scenic Umiam Lake, surrounded by misty hills. A day trip to Cherrapunji reveals spectacular waterfalls and caves such as Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Nohsngithiang Falls.
The tour concludes in Guwahati with visits to the sacred Kamakhya Temple, the cultural complex of Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, and other key attractions before departure.

Itinerary
Arrive Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport. On arrival you will be met by our representative and proceed to Kaziranga National Park ( 240 kms / 5 hrs) a world heritage site and famous for the one horned Rhino. On arrival, check-in at the lodge/resort. Overnight at the lodge/resort.
Get up very early in the morning for an exciting elephant ride (subject to availability from forest dept. on direct payment basis). Enjoy the ride through the Park for 1 hr. to appreciate the beauty of famous one horned rhino, wild elephant, etc up close. After breakfast at leisure. Afternoon go on a Jeep safari inside the Central range of the park. This drive is an ideal introduction to the park and its ecology as the route passes through the entire spectrum of habitat types prevalent in the area. There is a possibility of sighting elephants as well as the other Mega herbivores, Swamp deer etc. Overnight at the lodge/resort.
Morning after breakfast drive to Shillong (350 km/ 7 hours). Enroute see the beautiful Umiam lake or Barapani lake. On arrival, check–in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast early morning drive to Cherrapunjee (56 km/ 2 hours), world renowned for being once the rainiest place on earth. Cherrapunjee or Sohra has many beautiful waterfalls and caves. On the way, visit, Elephant falls, from where you get breathtaking views of the city below. Visit the Nohsngithiang Falls, Mawsmai caves, Nohkailikai Falls. On the way back, visit the Elephant falls. Overnight at the hotel.
This morning sightseeing of Shillong visiting the Wards Lake (Tuesday closed), known locally as Nan-Polok. It is an artificial lake with garden and boating facilities. Thereafter visit the Don Bosco Museum (Sunday closed). This modern museum focuses on local indigenous people & culture. Afternoon visit the Lady Hydari park. Thereafter drive back to Guwahati(110 kms / 3 hours). Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast visit the Kamakhya Temple and Srimanta Shankardev Kalashetra/Assam State Museam/Assam State Zoo. Thereafter transfer to airport for your flight back home.
