Your journey begins in Guwahati with a spiritual visit to the revered Kamakhya Temple, followed by a relaxing sunset cruise on the majestic Brahmaputra River.
The tour continues to the beautiful hills of Meghalaya with visits to Shillong and Cherrapunji, where dramatic landscapes, waterfalls, and caves create a spectacular setting. Highlights include Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Nohsngithiang Falls.
From Assam, the journey ascends into the Himalayan landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh. Explore the scenic valleys of Dirang, the high-altitude beauty of Sela Pass, and the spiritual charm of Tawang. Visit the iconic Tawang Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Asia, and experience the dramatic landscapes near Bum La Pass and Sangestar Tso, also known as Madhuri Lake.
The adventure concludes with a thrilling wildlife experience at Kaziranga National Park, home to the famous one-horned rhinoceros, before returning to Guwahati. This tour perfectly combines spirituality, mountains, culture, and wildlife.

Itinerary
Arrive Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport. On arrival you will be met by our representative. Transfer and Check-in at the hotel. Visit Kamakhya devi temple, an ancient Shakti Peetha. Enjoy Brahmaputra river sunset cruise (based on availability). Overnight at the hotel.
Early morning drive to Cherrapunjee (166 km/ 4 hours), world renowned for being once the rainiest place on earth. Cherrapunjee or Sohra has many beautiful waterfalls and caves. On the way, visit, Shillong peak, from where you get breathtaking views of the city below. Visit the Nohsngithiang Falls, Mawsmai caves, Nohkailikai Falls. Also see the valley of Bangladesh below. Drive back to Shillong. On the way, visit the Elephant falls. Overnight at the hotel.
Today after an early breakfast, visit the Don Bosco Museum. Check out and drive to the ancient city of Tezpur (6 hrs). Tezpur is a very old historic town of Assam then known as Sonitpur. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Then visit Agnigarh and Chitralekha Udyan. Overnight at the hotel.
Morning after breakfast drive to Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh (250 km/7 hrs). Dirang is a beautiful valley in the lap of the Himalayas. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit the Buddhist Kalachakra Monastery. Architecture is very much similar to Tibetan monasteries. Monpas are the major tribe of this area. Overnight at the hotel.
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Tawang (250km/7hrs) at an elevation of about 10000 ft. On the way cross 'Sela Pass', 13700 ft, the highest motorable road in North East India. On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening visit The Tawang Monastery also known as "Galden Namgyal Lhatse" was founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyamtso in the year 1860-61 AD. It offers an imposing and picturesque view of the -Chu valley. The monastery appears like a fort from a distance, as if guarding the people in the wide valley below. It is the largest of its kind in the country. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast day excursion to Bum La Pass which is located about 37 km away from Tawang at the Indo-China border above 15,200 ft. There after proceed to Sangestar Tso lake (lake is called Tso in Tibetan) that featured Madhuri Dixit in the movie Koyla, as a result this lake is also called Madhuri lake. Drive back to Tawang. Overnight at the hotel. (The above program is subject to weather condition and prior approval of District administration).
Today we proceed to Bomdila (180 kms/8 hours). Bomdila is the headquarters of the West Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Afternoon visit the Bomdila Monastery and the Craft Centre (if time permits). Overnight at the hotel.
This morning drive to Kaziranga (170 kms / 8 hrs) a UNESCO world heritage site and famous for the one horned Rhino. On arrival, check-in at the resort. Overnight at the resort.
Get up very early in the morning for an exciting elephant ride (direct payment basis). Enjoy the ride through the Park for 1 hr. to appreciate the beauty of famous one horned rhino, wild elephant, etc up close. Afternoon go on a Jeep safari inside the Central range of the park. This drive is an ideal introduction to the park and its ecology as the route passes through the entire spectrum of habitat types prevalent in the area. There is a possibility of sighting elephants as well as the other Mega herbivores, Swamp deer etc.
Morning, check out from the resort and drive to Guwahati. (240 kms / 05 hours)
